US Securities and Exchange Commission
The primary mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is to protect investors and maintain the integrity of the securities markets. The SEC requires public companies to disclose meaningful financial and other information to the public, which provides a common pool of knowledge for all investors to use to judge for themselves if a company’s securities are a good investment. The SEC also oversees other key participants in the securities world, including stock exchanges, broker-dealers, investment advisors, mutual funds, and public utility holding companies.

Utah Fund of Funds
The Utah Fund of Funds is a $100 million State of Utah economic development program aimed at providing Utah companies with access to a broader pool of professionally managed venture capital and private equity. The Utah Fund of Funds does not invest money into any company or individual but rather will invest in venture capital and private equity funds that commit to establishing a working relationship with the Utah Fund of Funds, Utah’s start-up and business community and commit to making investments in qualifying companies. The Utah Fund of Funds invests in venture capital and private equity funds located both in Utah and outside Utah.
